Irrigation Installation
The best garden is a self-watering garden! Many people think that watering is the easiest part of gardening and it may seem silly to make it automated, but the larger your garden, the longer it will take to water it. Not only does it take time, but in the hotter and dryer parts of the summer you will need to water everyday, sometimes even twice a day. Plus, if you go on vacation, your garden will water itself while you're gone!

Above Ground Irrigation
This type of irrigation is easier to install, can be removed at the end of every season and stored for the winter, and is easier to repair should you encounter any leaks. It can even be used with pots and raised beds. However, you will be able to see it as it sits on top of the soil.

Below Ground Irrigation
Below ground irrigation is harder to install as it needs to be buried throughout the garden around or beneath plants. This process can take longer unless the garden is new and it's installed before laying down the soil. You also need to be aware of it's presence and be careful when planting in the future so that you do not damage it, and because it stays hidden beneath the garden it can be harder to find leaks should you notice uneven watering. That being said, it's advantage lies in the aesthetic as it is hidden and cannot be seen once installed.
